Screama Limited (the Company) respects the privacy of anyone who uses the Screama web site (www.screama.com) and the Company’s products and services. We publish this Privacy Policy to communicate how we gather and use information about you, how we protect it, and how you can participate in its protection.

The Company may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the email address specified in your primary Screama administration account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.

Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or disclose to third parties personal information gathered online about you without your consent. You can rest assured that we will never provide your e-mail address, or any other personal information gathered from you during visits to our web site or when you use the Screama service, to any external organisation without your permission.

The only exceptions are under the following circumstances:-

1. as may be required in law;
2. in the event of your violation of the Terms of Use;
3. in the event that the Company is sold or acquired in which case the Company will notify you of its intent to transfer your information in advance of the transfer.

When you register with us for the Screama service or when you visit our website and download software or other resources we may ask for contact information such as your contact name, company or organisation name, your e-mail address and telephone number. We may also ask you about the nature of your interest in our products and services and how you located our web site.

When you express specific interest in our products and services, we may also ask for additional personal information, such as your job-title, department name, fax number or additional company information, such as annual revenues, number of employees or industry. You can opt out of providing additional information by not entering it when asked.

We may also e-mail newsletters and updates about the Company and its products and services. You can opt in to such newsletters at the time you register and you can also opt out of receiving these communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or email itself at the time they are distributed.

Screama Service Data
The Company uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run the Screama service (Service Providers). Although the Company owns the code, databases, and all rights to the Screama application and service, you retain all rights to your data.

All information relating to the provision of the Screama service including but without limitation Screama messages, templates, configuration data, user information and other such data stored on the Service Providers’ computer systems, will be treated as private and solely your property at all times and will not be duplicated, copied, reproduced or viewed publicly in any way except with your express or implied permission and/or for the purpose of the Company's back up services and/or providing you with the Services and/or for the Company's own internal purposes such as market research.

You accept that the Screama administration system will include your name and address, the email addresses of the users and their address books as required by your Screama administrator and other details relating to them. This information (if it refers to individuals) is personal data for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1984 and will be treated accordingly.

Third Parties
The Company has referral relationships with third-party companies and individuals ("Referral Partners") who may refer their customers to the Company. In such situations the referred parties are considered to be customers of both the Company and the Referral Partner. The Company and the Referral Partner may share the customer contact as well as collected information with respect to their joint business relationships with the customer. Sharing of this information allows the Company and the Referral Partner to establish the identity of the shared customer and determine any referral fees owed.

The Company uses a third party payment processing system to manage credit card processing. This intermediary is solely a link in the distribution chain and is not permitted to store, retain, or use the information provided, except for the sole purpose of credit card processing. Payments processed by the third party payment processing company are subject to their published terms and conditions of service, and the Company makes no representations or warranties with respect to their services.

Cookies
A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier that is sent to your browser from a web site's computer and stored on your computer's hard drive. Cookies record information about your online preferences and provide time-saving shortcuts.

Users have the opportunity to set their computers to: 1) accept all cookies; 2) to notify them when a cookie is issued or 3) not to receive cookies at any time.
